One of our favorite greek myths - Odysseus experiencing the song of the sirens. The story goes, Odysseus wanted to hear the song of the sirens so he made his crew out bees wax in their ears as they tied him to the front of the ship so they wouldn’t be drawn to their deaths (as sirens do).
